Cville showings and feedback

 Charlottesville Virginia Real Estate

This weekend I have been out showing homes with clients who are from out of town,

We have been in 20+ homes and with the inventory that is available in the Charlottesville Real Estate market that is not out of the question.

Today I was in an afternoon meeting and my phone was on vibrate.

I received 4 voicemails from agents asking for feedback on showings from the weekend.

Well I totally understand that agents want feedback and (if it is approved with my clients) I am more than happy to give feedback.

But these 4 calls are made during the busy part of the day and we end up playing phone-tag and in the end no one is really happy,

I also go 3 emails asking about showings so when it was convenient I was able send these agents feedback and not just something "rushed during a phone conversation".

It just makes a lot of sense for agents who want feedback to use email.... This is my opinion.

Water Features/Sell homes?

This post is 2 parts.

1. Adding a water feature is a good idea!

I think that adding a water feature is a excellent idea.

It creates a mood, is soothing and can help eliminate unwanted noise. Recently, fellow blogger Shawna Gibson make a post about Selling her own home on a busy street

Well I used to live on a busy street in California (no kidding)...

We added a pool with a water fall and it really helped with the noise. I think this is an excellent idea and something that a homeowner can enjoy!

You do not have to go crazy with a waterfall, but a nice feature may be a great choice!

2. Can this actually sell a home with a "noise problem"

I am not sure if this will make a difference in selling a home or not.

It seems like it would not hurt, but now that I live on the East Coast, I am a little more concerned about Winterizing and maintainance on a water feature than I was on the West Coast.

Please tell me your water feature stories. Do they help in selling a home?

Maybe just a simple water feature at a from entrance makes more sense?

Love to hear your idea?

BTW, here is a picture of my old Water Fall. I put it in when I was single and a bit of a nut!
