We hear a lot about California Wine and of course Napa Valley is a must see!

Well after moving to Virginia (8 years ago) I started to hear about Virginia Wine. There are some real hidden gems in our area.

Well, I have a client who moved here and bought some a home with some acreage and they have decided to start a winery. What a fantastic start they have and believe me it is no small task!

Here is a photo I took this Fall at their property:

Now I am not going to give you the location of this winery but I can tell you it in a prime location with fantastic Blue Ridge Views!!!

I was recently at a clients farm in Charlottesville and their neighbor was moving some trees.

Now I have seen this piece of equipment driving down the road but I had never seen it work...

The kid in me was excited!!!

First they dig the hole. it took about a minute....

Then they drove over and picked up a tree, drove back and planted it... Took about 10 minutes... mostly drive time...

I was amazed!!!

I hear the cost for this piece of equipment is around 250/hr but that is better than a broken back!

This morning I was having coffee on the deck... after going through a ton of emails and I realized just how lucky I am to be living in Charlottesville with four seasons. So I took a few pictures that I wanted to share.

The colors are changing quickly here so if you are going to visit, now is the time!

We actually had a little rain this morning to keep things cool!

Soon the leaves will all drop and Winter will set in. When we get a little snow on the ground it is a beautiful site!

My rear yard is on a slope and I often show clients what can be built in this terrain.

Fall is a great time to be in Real Estate, showing clients what this beautiful area looks like. What better way to show off Real Estate than photos of your own back yard?
